JIMMY "The GREEK" RETURNS TO 2024 ANAHEIM SUPERCROSS A2
Anaheim, CA, January 2024- I'm looking forward to returning to the Anaheim A2 Supercross this Saturday Jan 27th as a working motocross photojournalist for the first time in nearly 30 years, as part of a photo feature story I'm doing on the 50th Anniversary of Supercross for RacerX Illustrated. The last time I worked that Anaheim Supercross was back in 1993 where I photographed Miss Supercross Sandra Wild with Championship winner Jeff Stanton's Honda CR250 race bike. My shoot that weekend with Sandra and two other beautiful FastDates.com Calendar Kittens and the other factory team bikes appeared in the 1994 Berm Busters Calendar. The Mikuni Carburetor sponsored BERM BUSTERS Calendar was produced for 10 years from 1994 to 2003 and featured beautiful models posing with the top factory motocross bikes photographed my myself, together with action shots of the bike's riders by photographer Kinney Jones. - Jim Gianatsis

Edelweiss Motorcycle Tour, Rome, Italy, - April 28 - May 13th 2022 - For many of us looking to return to normal life, 2022 was my post pandemic return for a new Edelweiss Motorcycle Tour in Europe. This time my trip would be in Southern Italy, riding from Rome to Sicily along the beautiful Amalphi western coast of the Mediterranean Sea. This region was the birthplace of European civilization including the great empires of Greece and Rome, and later the Norman Vikings. I wanted to see for the first time where much of World history and civilization first began, and brought us to where mankind is today, the places I has always learned about and dream of visiting one day. This would be my 6th Edelweiss bike tour, and one of the most significant.

Jim Gianatsisand Calendar Kitten and Playboy Playmate Monica Sims. were back at Thunder Road Classic Cycles in Hollywood again this month to shoot some more awesome custom bikes for thr next Iron & Lace Caledndars. Store owner and builder Max Hushahnwas quite accommodating and gracious to arrange for us to shoot a number of his shop built custom bikes.
The bike pictured with Monica above is a Thunder Road built Zero Engineering Kit Bike featuring a new V-Twin
Evo engine dressed to look like an older Pan head. The bike was brought to the shoot by the proud new owner Peter Lewis. The new 2024 calendar goes on sale here July 1st, 2023.
Two other cool bikes we shot with Monica included a fully Blacked-out custom built Sportster Desert Scrambler, and the classic British BSA Scrambler custom shown here. Because the upcoming new 2023 FastDates.com Calenders are already at our Printer in China for July 2022 release, you will have see these again bikes with beautiful Monica in the next 2024 Iron & Lace Calendar. Kiki Wong Joins the Smashing Pumpkins!
Congratulations to Kiki Wong of the all-girl rock band band Nylon Pink with 4 beautiful and talented Asian rockers girls who played at my LA Calendar Motorcycle Shows back in the day, has just joined the renown band Smashing Pumpkins as their lead guitarist. Another one of my former LA Calendar Motorcycle Show performers, singer songwriter guitarist KATIE COLE has also been performing with the Smashing Pumpkins for a number of years now. 😍

May 2023 - We are excited to find that our beautiful FastDates.com Calendar Kitten Riley Anne is featured on the cover
and inside the May 2023 issue of Easyriders Magazine, including a 16-page pull-out supplement with just Rilley Anne. The "Tobacco Road Evo Bobber" featured in the magazine shoot was built by Tobacco Road Harley-Davidson in North Carolina and is owed by Mark Hendrix and Ashley Alexander. The bike and the couple's matching Chevy pickup truck were photographed with Rilley Anne, who lives in nearby Charlotte, NC, by photographer Brad Patton.
You may remember that Easyriders Magazine
closed its doors about 5 years ago, along with many other motorcycle magazine titles due to declining audience demographics, the decliing custom bike market sice 2008, and the rise of online social media. The brand Easyriders was sold to an investment company who planed to bring out a lifestyle line of Easyriders Clothing and Accessories, and they even produced 2 really nice laerge format perfect boud coffee table editions of a new Easyriders lifestyle magazine. But the new compny never made it through the pandemic of 2020-21 before shutting its own doors.
Then about a year later ,the beginning of 2022 saw
the return of the original Easyriders with publisher Joe Teresi and editor Dave Nichols. The rebirth of the magazine sees it has cleaned up its act a little, with more feature articles, no more topless porn star centerfolds or patch wearing outlaw bikers, replaced by even prettier girls-next-door featured cover models and stories on well-known motorcle industry people. The new print magazine has been out a year now, it looks good and is a good 100-pages thick. But it seems to be having a difficult time pulling any advertsing in a custom V-twin bike and accessory market that has allmost disappeared. The Adriatic Coast and Misano World Circuit, Italy, July 20-22nd 2018 - What better way for a hard core Ducatista to spend their summer vacation than attending the 10th edition of World Ducati week for 2018 at Misano Adriatico on the north east coast of Italy at the famous race circuit Marco Simoncelli. This was my 3rd visit to a World Ducati event weekend which normally takes place every 2 years, having last attended when the event was less well known back in 2004 and then in 2012 when it had really grown. Needless to say, this year's 2018 event was even bigger and offered up more activities and sights than you could handle during the expanded 3 day weekend. Making it even more enjoyable, i always fly in a few days early from my home in Los Angeles to Ducati's home in nearby Bologna, Italy, to tour the factory, its museum, its factory retail store for bikes and official apparel, and now a cool American 1960's diner restaurant named Cafe America with a full menu of American burgers, diner food classics and drinks.
