Shooting the 2026 FastDates.com Calendars
This year marks the 35th edition of the FastDates.com Calendars which
was the perfect vacation guide and took her to all the famous and my favorite unknown
I have photographed and produced since 1991, first as a promotional product for
places around Southern California, from lunch on the front patio of the Beverly Wilshire
Mikuni Carburetors, and then as my own brand since 2001. I am so greatful for all
Hotel in Beverly Hills, to hiking to the top of the Hollywood Sign, to driving sports cars in
the Santa Monica Mountains.
the wonderful motorcycle people, racers and custom bike builders, beautiful models,
and exciting places I’ve traveled to over these years to bring you what I believe have
always been the top motorcycle and motor sports pinup calendars in the world.
This year’s Calendars and this FAST 2026 Calendar Yearbook features
beautiful Italian red haired model Sophie Francesconi from the small town of
Massarosa in the Tuscany region of Italy. I first introduced you to Sophie 2 years ago
in the FAST 2024 Calendar Yearbook where she served as my photo model com-
panion and guide in Rome at the beginning of my Edelweiss Motorcycle Tour
“From Rome to Sicily” along the eastern coast of Italy.
Sophie was now 21 years old and busy attending University to complete
a degree in Nursing, and was just beginning her working internship at a local hospi-
tal. Her passions are fashion and modeling, and she keeps her Instagram updated
with her best test and modeling work photos, but she knew nursing would be her
long term career. She had told me back in Rome 2 years earlier, that it was her
dream to some day visit Los Angeles, and I told her I would try to make it happen....
For this year’s 2026 Calendars I invited Sophie to vacation and shoot with
me for 2 weeks in the mid summer of 2024 in Los Angeles. She was really excited
because this was her first trip ever outside Italy and to fly on an airplane! Of course I
And of course we went to Grauman’s Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard to
see the hand prints of Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell, where she also got to play with a
street performer’s pet giant Python! And we visited the Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach,
Malibu, the Los Angeles Zoo, Universal Studios, Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive, the Down-
town Los Angels Arts District, and a music club on Sunset Boulevard.
One of our most exciting adventures took place the day after Sophie arrived when
we attended thea 2-Day Josh Ryan Photo Workshop with the top Guess models at his
Issue Photo Studio in Hollywood for the first day, then at the famous Goldstein Residence
in the Hollywood Hills. That’s us with Josh Ryan in the picture above.I had first met Josh
some 15 years earlier when he was just starting out as a photographer and was attending
my Los Angles Calendar Motocycle Show with his pretty model girlfriend Heather Rae
Young who I immediately asked to hire to shoot for the Calendars.
