This was the day I had traded my BMW XR1000R for a lighter Ducati 950 Multistrada which was carried in the van as a spare bike. With my short leg inseam the BMW inline-4 cylinder was too heavy for me to pick up off the side stand when straddling the bike. The V- twin Multistrada had about the same seat height as the BMW, but was less top heavy and easier to pick-up off the side stand. It is fustrating these adventure bikes aren’t more adjustable for their excessive ground clearance which just isn’t needed most of the time.
