If Haley-Davidson ever wanted to build a contemportary sportbike based on their iconic 1200cc Sportster V-Twin motor, this is what we'd like it to look and perform like.
New Los Angeles based custombime builder Samuel Kao brought this awesome sportbike to the 2014 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show where it won its Class and was in leading contention for Best of Show.

Everything on Sam's bike had to be reworked or custom fabricated from scratch, including the frame and fiberglass bodywork.
The single sideed swingarm used in the rear suspensionis is curtesy of Ducati, but the swingarm had to be flipped upside down to align the Rear Drive Sprocket with the front Primary Sporcket on the Sportster's motor. Front suspension is quality Marzzochi sportbike forks with 4-piston Brembo Brakes clamping on full floating Wave Rotors.

Engine modifications include higher compression pistons and a performance cam, Mikuni HSR 42 Smoothbore Carburetor, and a custom fabricated twin megaphone exhaust system,
helping the Sportster motor put out about 35% more power thn stock

This is one beautiful Sportster based sportbike that can corner, stop and perform!

Utilizing my knowledge, artistic vision, and studies in automotive design now is my time to make those I have not seen into reality.

JSK Custom design is a motorcycle design company that started in 2010 in Southern California. The lead designer Samuel Kao was originally from Taiwan and now lives in the USA where he found allows him freedom to explore and expand his affection of motorcycles. With passionate collaborators, JSK Custom Design was created because there are so much more designs out there which are yet to be created. Utilizing the passion for motorcycles, artistic vision, and studies in automotive design. JSK Custom Design is dedicated to create motorcycle masterpieces that make fantasy into reality.
