Vyrus NCR Ducati 1200cc
photography by By Jim Gianatsis

The Vyrus Motorcycle Company in Italy makes possibly the world's most exotic limited edition
sportbikes, and Ducati collector Tom Stevens wanted to do make his 2010 Veyrus Ducati which features the venerable 1200cc DS2 aircooled Desmo engine, even more exclusive. So Tom delivered his Vyrus to Ducati Specialist tuners and parts builders NCR in Bologna. Italy, just a few miles away the Ducati factory, and gave them Carte Blanch to give it the full race treatment. The air cooled twin produces some 105 horsepower in Stock form. NCR performed its magic on this now called "984 Superleggera" by modifying the motor with their own cams, porting, high compression 14.5:1 compression pistons which can only run on race gas, lightweight magnesium engine cases and a dyno tune that increases power to 135hp.

The Vyrus chassis with its beautiful billet aluminum frame and hub steering swingarm front suspension with top shelf Ohlins components was also enhanced with Carbon fibre bodywork, carbon composite brake rotors Brembo MotoGP brake calipers, and Marvic Magnesium wheels. The finished price for this little Italian beauty? Only $110,000! Add in beautiful Fast Dates Calendar Kitten Sara and this becomes one exotic sportbike we can only dream about.

If you visit the Vyrus Website you can get additional details on all the available Vyrus models, available options which include BST Carbon Fibre and Marchesini Magnesium Race Wheels, and whatever your wallet can afford. - Jim Gianatsis / http://www.vyrus.it
