Top Left: Producing the 2024 FastDates.com Calendars saw me retuning to Italy, one of my favorite European countries for friends, motorcycles and beautiful girls on another Edelweiss World Motorcycle Tour adventure called ‘From Rome to Sicily”.
Italian model Sophie Francesconi joined me for 2 wonderful days in Rome at the start of my bike trip to show me the city.
Bottom Left: I again asked Italian photographer Simone de Raineri to re-shoot with Italian models Roberta (the Red Head with the classic Fiat 500) and Elena (the Strawberry Blond on the classic Lambretta) for the 2024 Garage Girls Calendar.
All three girls were also featured in last year’s 2023 Gasoline Girls Calendar.

Shooting the 2024 FastDates.com Calendars
This year marks the 34th edition of the FastDates.com Calendars which I have photographed and produced. I am so greatful for all the wonderful motorcycle people, racers and custom bike builders, beautiful models, and exciting places I’ve travel to over these years to bring you what I believe have always been the top motorcycle pinup calendars in the world.
This past year, one of the exciting and among my favorite places to travel to was Italy, where the Edelweiss Motorcycle Tour “From Rome to Sicily”. I’ve been to northern Italy a number of times, particularly Tuscany, the famous race tracks of Monza, Misano and Imola, and to the Ducati factory in Bologna. And I’ve been on many Edelweiss Tours over the years. But this would be my first chance to visit Rome, the beautiful Amalphi western coast of Italy, and the island of Sicily. Edelweiss motorcycle tours are the best because they plan everything for you by providing the best bikes, tour guides, hotels and tou stops along the way. They even have a chase van that carries a spare bike just in case, and brings your lug- gage to the next hotel each evening. All you have to do is enjoy the ride and the scenery.
To make this Italy tour even more enjoyable I asked Italian model Sophie Francesconi, who is featured in the 2023 Gasoline Girls Calendar photographed by her fellow countryman Simone de Raineri, to join me a few days early in
“The Eternal City” before my bike trip began, to show me the sights.
We had a wonderful time with great memories, including a candlelight dinner at a sidewalk cafe and dancing in the street to a live cuban band! Many of those pictures are shared here in the FAST 2024 Yearbook with the story and pic- tures of my Edelweiss adventure.
Last year, 2023, de Raineri’s photos of beautiful moto girls made up a new calendar title “Gasoline Girls” which replaced my previous 30 years of “Garage Girls” Calendars to give it a fresh identity. But for 2024 I’ve reverted back to the “Garage Girls” title because the 2024 Calendar features both de Raineri’s and my photos of beautiful girls. And I wanted to protected the U.S. Trademark of ©Garage Girls which I own and had built up over so many years.
I asked Simone to do two new photos shoots of his Italian models for the new 2024 Garage Girl Calendar and this year’s Yearbook. We choose beautiful redhaired Roberta with a classic old Fiat 500 compact car, and adorable freckled faced blond Elena Beasley with a classic old yellow Lambretta scooter. I hope you will enjoy these pictorials as much as Simone and I do! Viva Italiano!
