& Lace 2005 Jesse Rooke took the Performance Machine Best of Show trophy at our big 2003 Los Angeles Calendar Motorcycle Show for the 2nd year in a row with his incredible "Kali Kruiser", one of the most original and creative customs ever. Jesse took his inspiration from a classic Schwinn Roadmaster bicycle and then added his own creative inovations like the single sided bicycle style front and rear suspension.
Another favorite bike of ours is the Confederate "Wraith" prototype which was expected to see limited production. The Wraith is a modern day version of a classic 1920's board track racer using new era construction for its aluminum backbone frame, a unique carbonfiber front suspension and single sided rear suspension, and high performance Brembo superbike brakes. Other famed builders yeatured in this years calendar are Harold Pontarelli who's bike "Toxic' is featured on the cover, plus paul yaffe, Russell Mitchell, Mike Stafford, Don Chica, Ron Simms and Roland Sands The beautiful models in this year's calendar were just as exceptional as the bikes, starting with covergirl Nicki Lane who was the reigning Miss Great Britain 2003 at the time of our shoot, and who was sponsored by FastDates.com in her British national pageant. Two of our newest finds were beautiful professional commercial models Andra Cobb and Laura Niles, both of whom we brought back again for many other calendar shoots. Two of our models were younger than we usually book, with Jessica Fife and Jennifer Nicole both being just 16 years old and requiring their parents' consent to photograph for the calendar. While not needing their parents consent at all were famed adult models, Penthouse Pet of the year Martina Warren and adult film star Jessica Drake.
