Bike Contest is Sunday July 22nd, 2012. Contest Registration at Back Gate 8-10 am
Registation is $50 and includes (2) $20 Admission Passes and Queen Mary Ghost Ship Entry,
and a FastDates.com Calendar: a $79 Value if purchased separately.
Spectator viewing 10am - 6pm. Trophy
Presentation and Media Photography 5pm - 6pm.
All Contest Bikes must remain in place until
the Close of the Show at 6 pm.

Sell Your Bike - Calendar Motorcycle Seller's Showcase
Just $50- Double Exposure! for exotic custom, classic, antique and sport bikes. Builders and Owners can showcase their selected motorcycles and offer them for sale inside the Event Park. You can place signage, contact information and literature with your bike, and you can be there in person to meet with potential buyers. BIkes can be left overnight for Sunday's Bike Show Contest (separate registration and reduced fee). Enter at the back Exhibitor's Gate between 9:30 -10 am Saturday. Bike must remain in place unitl 6pm closing, than immedaitely removed or placed in Sunday's Bike Contest Staging Area. No coolers or canopies. Details Here

4/2010 - Note: Due to the current down in the economy and the loss of many Manufacturers, Sponsors and Venders at all bike events across America, including the Calendar Motorcycle Show, our cash awards have had to be reduced at the 2010 Show. We will still have our great Iron Works Magazine Trophies and Product Discount Award Certificates from our major manufacturers in attendace at the show. Meanwhile, thank you for your continued support of the Calendar Show during the current difficult recession.
- Jim Gianatsis The
advertised $86,000 purse for the Show includes $300 in
Cash and Product Awards for Best of Show, and some $76,000 in gift certificates and trophies awarded in all the classes down to 3rd place.
Gianatsis
Design will pay $300 cash
for Best of Show. Payment will
be made when the winning bike is is provided at a local location
of our choice for photography for the Iron & Lace Calendar. Normally
the Monday following the Sunday contest is set aside for photography
of the winning bike at the Gianatsis Design studio in Woodland
Hills, CA.
Should
photographer Jim Gianatsis not choose to photograph the winning
bike, then the full amount of the cash prize will be paid
at the Show on Sunday. Should the winner not make the bike
available for photography at a later date, within 6 months
of the Show,
the $300 Cash Award will be forfeited.**
Bike Judging Criteria
The
Calendar Bike Show Contest
will be judged by respected industry professionals and celebrity builders based on their personal tastes for design, execution and creativity. There will be no score cards or points awarded and all decisions are final.
Best
of Show is approved by
Jim Gianatsis as the one bike most exemplifying the theme of
the
LA Calendar Motorcycle Show and the Iron & Lace Calendar for high standards of originality
and creativity and function.
Contestants are responsible for choosing the correct class
for their bike, and No Contest Entry Fees will be refunded.
No whiners or cry babies please. This is a fun event.
